Follow up to yesterday's department meeting:  Courses to offer in Visual Art next year?

Emailed Gossett/Clemens:

Good morning!

After having some time to think about courses to offer in Visual Art next year, Hope and I have some more specific input & ideas!

Would it be possible for the photography course to be a hybrid photography/graphic design course and to meet in a computer lab daily, as our classroom?  I think that would be a more practical application and setting for a digital photography class!  If so,

Hope is open to teaching specialty courses, either ceramics or printmaking, or even both if the schedule allows it!  She would also still like to add an Art 4 only course to her course load (seniors only).

Please let us know your thoughts!

Thank you for your time,

Kristina & Hope

Order for 2019/2020!  (reminder-work on over spring break, once we have a better idea of course offerings for next year)

Emailed Jennie Currin-Calendar request...April 17th-ART SHOW!

-Discussion of Frayer Model-

Benefits to posting frayer model worksheets---reteaching, students can reference missed information if they were absent/need a refresher on important techniques/vocabulary.  Using it as an instructional tool is effective!  Helps to keep students engaged with essential information.

(Feedback from Ms. Winter!)

Discussion with Goal Clarity Coaches-Problems & Solutions!

Hope-seeking help gathering supplies for Cornhole boards for Auction (collaboration with Industrial Maintenance teachers).  Some problem solving took place!  (distribute work among students!)
